Who we are
Tenpenny is a jobsite photo service run by [ENTITY] ("we"). Contact: hello@tenpenny.app.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number, company name.
- Photos and what goes with them: the photos your crew takes in the app, the time they were taken, the phone's GPS position at that moment, tags and notes, and who took them.
- Job details: job names, addresses and customer names your company enters.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer id and subscription status, never card numbers.
- Usage: which pages and features are used, sent to PostHog, so we can improve the product. Where the law requires consent, this runs only after you allow it.
- Advertising: if you arrive from a Google ad we keep the click identifier and campaign tags for 90 days in a first-party cookie, so we can tell Google which ads led to a sign-up.
How we use it
To run the service: file photos to jobs, build reports, send share links, invite crew members by text or email, bill you, and tell you about your account. We do not sell personal data.
Who else touches it
We use these providers to run Tenpenny. Each processes data only to provide its service to us:
- Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare R2 (photo storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), Google (geocoding job addresses; advertising measurement), PostHog (product analytics), Expo (app updates).
Where it lives and how long
Data is stored in the United States. Photos and job data stay as long as your account exists. When you delete a photo it is hidden immediately and the files are permanently removed after 30 days. If you close your account we delete your data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep for tax purposes.
Your photos are yours
You can download every photo on any job at any time, whether or not you are paying us.
Location
The app records the phone's location when a photo is taken so the photo files to the right job. Location is shown to your company's members. It is hidden on share links and reports unless you choose to include it.
Share links
A share link shows the photos on a job or report to anyone who has the link, until it expires or you revoke it. Treat it like a key.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep you signed in. Optional cookies measure usage and ads. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask before setting optional cookies. You can change your choice from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct, export or delete your personal data by emailing hello@tenpenny.app. Account deletion is also available in the app. We answer within 30 days.
Children
Tenpenny is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email account owners first.
